Intention
the possible human

Backdrop

mella: Welcome. my practice of writing and sharing awarenesses is part of an intention to simply sloooooow down and live more fully. in the present. whatever it brings. I am blessed with a trait of high sensitivity and INFP personality; this blog is sharing what comes through me as I dance with my experience with the world. I am often clumsy on the dancefloor and have a long way to go to flowing gracefully, so unlike many HSP-created blogs I look to for inspiration on how to move from surviving to thriving, this is not a roadmap of how to do that. rather at its best it is simply presenting that possibility as I see it, which helps me keep despair at bay. it can take an Idealist stance that may be unrelatable at times. but I am always aiming for somewhere in that juicy middle where the good stuff of life is attainable. my hope is that when you take the time to visit, you will find something meaningful and worthwhile which will help you shine your light bright(er). It is needed. my point of view is that we are drawn to places, and *then* the fun is finding out why. as woody allen says, just showing up is 80% of life. I am thrilled you showed up here ✇

THIS BRIEF LIFETIME

How are we going to spend this brief lifetime?

Are we going to strengthen our well-perfected ability to struggle against uncertainty, or are we going to train in letting go?

Are we going to hold on stubbornly to “I’m like this and you’re like that”?

Or are we going to move beyond that narrow mind?

Could we start to train as a warrior, aspiring to reconnect with the natural flexibility of our being and to help others do the same?

If we start to move in this direction, limitless possibilities will begin to open up.
